Cougar Volleyball Indoor Club Season

Indoor Club season runs from January to May of the respective year with evaluations and beginning in early December. Practices will start at the beginning of January, unless you hear from your coach of extra times in December.

The indoor club season consists of practices at least twice per week. As for competition structure, all of indoor club season breaks down into tournaments based on age categories. There are four Volleyball BC sanctioned tournaments and Cougar Volleyball is required to play in three of them for ranking purposes. In addition to these tournaments, we will also be playing a number of club-level tournaments as well put on by individual club organizations. NOTE: Club Volleyball is a high-level commitment as practice times are vital for players to get acclimated to coaching systems, on-court cohesion with teammates and the overall sense of the team itself.

Practices will take place at either our Cougar Volleyball Warehouse (20159 115A Ave, Maple Ridge) or the Maple Ridge Christian School Gym (MRCS - 12140 204b St, Maple Ridge)

We are pleased to also offer a House League for athletes who are not placed onto a competitive team. To learn more, click the button below!

Pricing Breakdown For Indoor Club Season:

Please NOTE our Refund Policy below. While we can certainly sympathize with extenuating circumstances should they arise, please understand that most costs for the indoor club season are paid out in advance including tournament fees, uniform/apparel, player costs, coaches costs, etc. These are costs that we cannot get back.

NOTE: The costs are *per athlete* costs with the total listed below and are all included in the overall price breakdown (These costs cannot be separated):

*NOTE* In addition to our Club fees, there is also a $75.00 Volleyball BC administration fee that each player is responsible for registering for on their own with Volleyball BC’s program Sportlomo.

*We do offer payment plans and are willing to work with each family on a case-by-case basis as necessary. The payment plan option will be listed as an option in TeamSnap once you receive registration for the Club Season. The payment plan will be broken down into three payments with the first payment due upon registration. There are also funding options through JumpStart and KidSport BC. REFUND POLICY:

• Refunds of registration fees will be considered for all written requests received up to 14-Days prior to the start of each respective season program. A $50 administration fee will be applied to these refunds.

• No refund of registration fees will be provided where a player withdraws within two weeks of the first scheduled event or thereafter.

• A full refund of regular registration fees will be provided where a player chooses to withdraw due to a change in practice time/location initiated solely by Cougar Volleyball. Such refunds will not be assessed an administration fee.

• Parents/Players may apply for a full refund of registration fees, citing extraordinary circumstances. Such requests must be made in writing to the Club Director. The Board of directors will consider such requests on an individual basis.

• No refunds of fees will be given where an evaluation has taken place and a player is selected.

• Programming has been paid for in advance i.e. Tournament Fees, Coaching fees, facility fees, administration fees, team apparel fees.
