  • Grant:

    Bio:

Grant is NCCP trained and has played many sports: volleyball for 20+ years, competitive outrigger racer, mixed martial arts, and an avid badminton player. He has coached one year of club volleyball with Cougars and is excited to share his knowledge with the next generation of volleyball players in Maple Ridge.

    Philosophy:

I am looking forward to coaching U13 this year. My strength is coaching defence and success through fundamentals. Volleyball is fun and I want to see the players grow in skills and confidence.

    Sara:

    Bio:

Sarah started playing Volleyball at 13yrs, she played all through highschool, along with local clubs and even extended her Vball career to some overseas Varsity Team while she was traveling abroad for University. She took a couple years in retirement to focus on her career but recently came back to it because she missed the thrill of the game. Volleyball has always been an amazing outlet and a way to make new and very lasting friendships. This will be Sarah's second season coaching and she is very excited to help the next generation of players get the skills and the heart for the court.

    Philosophy:

Volleyball isn't just about bump, set, spike there's a method and a mindset that transfers past the court and to everyday life. I am looking forward to coaching and hopefully pass down some of the skills I’ve learned over the year! Let's get LOW TEAM!!!
