Fall Development is a CO-ED program that is designed to introduce athletes to the sport of volleyball. ALL skill levels are welcome in this program and coaches will do their best to facilitate individual athlete needs.
*Important Note: Historical attendance has largely been female athletes, therefore the net heights will be set to the appropriate age for females.
Over the course of this program every skill will be explained and broken down with an emphasis on high reps and quality coaching feedback, as well as small game situations.
Our goal is to create a love of the game while providing valuable growth and confidence to every athlete who attends, while also providing life skills that go beyond the court.
Skills that will be covered;
Defence
Passing
Setting
Attacking
Serving
Blocking
Sessions are 2 hours and 15 minutes, with 1 hour and 15 minutes spent on volleyball. Athletes will then get 1 hour of strength and agility training which will introduce them to the weight room in a safe and healthy manner. Nutrition, sleep habits and proper warm up / cool downs will also be covered in this time.
Athletes are encouraged to sign up with a friend of similar skill level to help the overall enjoyment of the program, however individuals are always welcome.
